On May 21st Technoport welcomed the jury’s meeting of the 2nd Edition of the Luxembourg Creative Young Entrepreneur Award.

The aim of the competition is to find the most Creative Young Entrepreneur established in Luxembourg. This year, the JCI Luxembourg team received 23 great applications out of which 11 were selected for the 2nd round. Three entrepreneurs of the Technoport Innovation Network: Sylvain Zimmer (Jamendo SA), Achim Kopmeier (Epuramat SA) and Benoît Florentin (Blue Sky Software Sarl) where within this final round.

The jury decided to change format compared to 2007 and welcomed all 11 candidates for short interviews, which turned out to be very useful. At the end of the day the jury appointed the 3 finalists who have shown an exceptional creativity.

The name of the 3 national finalists are Xavier Buck (EURO-DNS), Emmanuel Vivier (Vanksen Group) and Sylvain Zimmer (Jamendo SA) and the winner will be revealed during the ceremony organized on the 4th of July in the ArcelorMittal Headquarters in Luxembourg City. The prizes will be offered by the Government of Luxembourg as a mark of recognition, honour and celebration of the role of creativity and its success. Moreover, the national finalists will be nominated to participate to the worldwide 2008 JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Awards and will have the opportunity to challenge a selection of the most creative young entrepreneur in the world!
